• Thinning rules applied to determine changes associated with

vegetation management: (42,067 cells)

• Excluded areas ( existing wilderness, off-base, deferred)
  which reduced the number of eligible cells (16,662 cells)
• Eligible areas required to have vegetation density greater than
  lower limits for fire break or group selection treatment (6541 cells)
• Values for post-treatment conditions included in all cells
  as part of the input data
